7-Hour Periodic Gas Piping Inspector Qualification

This course is a Worker Training requirement for an individual’s qualification to perform periodic inspection of gas piping systems in New York City. To perform periodic inspections of gas piping systems under the direct and continuing supervision of a licensed master plumber, as covered in Article 318 of title 28 of the administrative code of the city of New York.

Eligibility Requirement: Students must have at least 5 years of full-time experience working under the direct and continuing supervision of a Licensed Master Plumber performing plumbing/gas work regulated by the NYC Fuel Gas Code.
In addition, the applicant must satisfy the qualification requirement by completing this qualification and continuing education course as mandated by the rules of the Department. Per 1 RCNY §105-03(c)(7)(ii), the course provider must issue a certificate of completion to attendees upon course completion
