The New York State Backflow Testers Association was formed to create a platform where testers can collectively ensure water safety standards are being met and information pertaining to this is properly tracked. The organization is affiliated with Cimino Backflow Testing and Inspection which was established in 2010The NYS Backflow Testers Association offers classes throughout Westchester County. This course satisfies the requirements necessary to renew a certificate of competence or license for a licensed master plumber and for a licensed master fire suppression piping contractor. Pursuant to New York City Department of Buildings 2014 Administrative Code, Section 28-401.14, and NYC Rule section 104-06, this course must be taken within one year prior to renewal date.Please bring your NYC plumbing/fire suppression license. If you are unable to attend a class you have registered for, your registration fee can be applied to a future class within six months of the class for which you originally registered. Registration is NON REFUNDABLE.
Master Plumbers AND Master Fire Suppression Piping Contractors must submit their renewal applications online. LICENSEES that do not currently have an eFiling account will need to create an account by completing the registration form.
