Don’t miss the July 1 deadline! Existing worker qualification cards issued prior to November 1, 2024, must be replaced by July 1, 2025 or you won’t be able to work.
How soon do I need a Worker Wallet Card?
Worker Wallets will be issued following the completion of any of the above courses as of November 1, 2024. If you’ve already completed one or more of certain courses, you have until July 1, 2025, to get yours. After that point, they’ll be required, and you won’t be able to work without one.
SST and Worker Wallet Cards
The Worker Wallet Card is not replacing SST cards until further notice. However, both cards will be linked to the student's profile in Training Connect.
Where can I get a Worker Wallet Card?
Josephine The Plumber is an Approved NYC DOB Provider for the Worker Wallet Card. Only DOB Approved Course Providers with specific approval for the courses on the Worker Wallet Card can issue a Worker Wallet Card.
Do I need a Worker Wallet Card after every course?
No, the card is a one-time purchase.
*For prior training to be added, it must be current (not expired) and validated by the issuing provider AND a clear copy of the credential must be submitted at the time of the request.
